OASH undertakes various projects to achieve its mission of responding to and preventing homelessness. Some past projects include:
- Conducting Point-in-Time (PIT) counts to gather data regarding the extent of homelessness in the Oxford, Ohio, area.
- Increasing community awareness of the issue of homelessness, for example, through the Oxford Reads Together book discussion.
- Providing HeART4U kits to children affected by the trauma of homelessness and food insecurity.
- Organizing information sessions for property owners about opportunities to help, and for renters to know about their legal rights and responsibilities.
- Sending representatives to city, county, and state meetings to advocate, receive training, and gain current information about solutions to homelessness.
